C&CI manages Bristol Museums (Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, M Shed, The Red Lodge Museum, The Georgian House Museum, Blaise Museum & Bristol Archives), Bristol Film Office and the Bottle Yard Studios.You will need to build a strong network of business contacts to promote our corporate partnership offering. Your priorities will be to develop compelling sponsorship proposals and arrange meetings to secure future partners for forthcoming exhibitions, events and new annual sponsorship opportunities.Once sponsors are secured, you will liaise with senior business stakeholders, museum staff as well as our national museum partners such as V&A, Natural History Museum, Tate and the Royal Collection Trust to ensure smooth delivery of exhibition sponsorship. Recent exhibitions have included Grayson’s Art Club, Constable in Bristol (part of The National Gallery 200th celebrations) and the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year.In addition to sponsorship, you will manage and grow our Corporate Membership scheme, organising and delivering benefits such as behind-the-scenes museum tours, our annual Summer Party, logo acknowledgement and invitations to Private Views.You will research, manage and pitch to local businesses and other organisations, maintaining and growing corporate donors. Accurately updating our CRM with details of donors and relationship management will be key, as well as your excellent negotiation and communication skills.You will also have experience of logging income and managing budgets, as well as knowledge of fundraising regulations.This role will support the Development Managers (job share) to implement our fundraising strategy by growing our corporate income stream. You will have responsibility for initiating and managing your own agreed fundraising projects and campaigns. You will also work closely with colleagues across the service as well as other stakeholders to ensure that our priority projects are adequately resourced.You will be excellent at engaging with funders, stakeholders and the public and will be confident communicating verbally and in written media. You will require strong project management and administrative skills and demonstrable experience in working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.The role will mostly be based at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, though there is flexibility to work across other sites as well as from home.
